The Egyptian themed pyramid-shaped edifice is one of the most prominent landmarks in Dubai. This destination hotel is an oasis of calm and charm – a few amenities include, lush private gardens, an outdoor pool, a state-of-the-art gym, the exceptional Raffles Spa – with 6 treatment rooms including a couple’s suite. The 252 rooms and suites are amongst some of the largest in the city. Convenience
As long as you don’t want to be by the beach, staying at Raffles Dubai is perfect. Is is centrally located at Oud Metha – close to the Old Dubai areas (Deira and Bur Dubai). Adjacent to the hotel is an egyptian-themed Wafi Mall. It may not be as fashionable as Dubai Mall or Mall of the Emirates but it is one of Dubai’s first/oldest malls and is home to 300 shops and 30 restaurants.
The lush palm-shaded Creekside Park is a short stroll away. Additionally, Dubai International Airport and The Dubai Mall is only a 15-minute drive from Raffles.

Raffles Salon – The perfect retreat to meet with friends post shopping or entertain a client. For a few hours of blissful respite, surrender yourself in the elegant yet cosy setting of the lounge and nibble on light bites. The raffles afternoon tea isn’t the best I’ve had but good enough for a quick catch up session if you’re staying at the hotel.
Azur – Overlooking the splendour of the Raffles Garden on the third floor, Azur features an international buffet with an abundant choice of Pan-Arabic and Asian dishes, set to tantalise all taste buds. Choose from the live cooking stations and the great selection of starters on the buffet, while the delectable dessert buffet will satisfy your sweet tooth, with an array of mouth-watering cakes, pastries and Arabic sweets. The outside terrace offers an additional setting to enjoy your meals while soaking up the warm weather, surrounded by the luxurious tropical garden.
Solo – a home-grown Italian Restaurant & Bar with a modern twist to traditional cuisine with generous portions served in a relaxed, convivial setting. Executive Chef, Doxis Bekris, helms the open-plan kitchen which serves homemade dishes, family-style peppered across Italy’s diverse regions from Lombardy and Tuscany to Campania and Sicily. Solo prides itself on sourcing local farm produce when the UAE harvesting season allows, whilst also importing seasonal ingredients from Italy. All dishes from the breads right through to sauces and pastas are made in-house.
