Momos, dumplings and wontons are some common variations of dim sums, and they can be made with sooo many types of fillings ?

 

What started with meats and veggies has now extended to fruits, activated charcoal, exotic veggies and more. The best part of being a dim sum lover is you can feast on them anytime – they make a lovely snack, a platter is sufficient as a meal or you could go to an all-you-can-eat dim sum place to really get your full! ?

Get your hands on their Assorted Dim Sum Platter (AED 35) where you get to order 3 options from BBQ Chicken Bun, Veg Dumplings, Shrimp Sieu Mai, Pumpkin Cake, Chicken Dumplings, and Prawns Har Gao Dumplings. What to Try? This amazing spot actually has a DIY dim sum option! A delivery-only place, here you can choose to get a single or triple box, and they have some excellent and unique options to pick. Try the Prawn Cheung Fun (with prawns, chillies, soy and garlic), Sliced Chicken (dry chillies, garlic and spring onion), Chicken and Chili Oil (vinegar, chilli oil and brown garlic), Corn Cake (chillies and brown garlic) and Spicy Asparagus (chillies and spicy satay sauce). Yes, prepare to be blown-away by the offerings of this simple but brilliant hidden gem in Dubai. Check out the Black Forest Dim sum with Activated Charcoal (AED 26), Hong Kong Cheung Fun (AED 26), Wow Wonton 2.2 with an option of fried or steamed (AED 26), Tandoori Momos (AED 26) and the Thai Curry Sum (AED 26). What to Try? An excellent place to get your fix of all things Asian, Little Bangkok isn’t one to disappoint. Among its other specialties, the dumplings are also especially delicious. Try the Nam Nuang with Chicken (AED 42), the Little Bangkok Mixed Platter (AED 63) Chilli Wontons (AED 28-30), Sui Mai (AED 26) and Gyozas (AED 40-44). They also have some amazing baos, rolls, and basket delicacies that will take you back to the stress food in Thailand!

What to Try? The perfect place for a celebration, this one is right in the lap of luxury! You can feast on the best Chinese and Asian fare, made traditionally by some of the best chefs. The fine dining restaurant has interiors to charm you, and the menu isn’t left far behind. Check out the Pan-Fried Dumplings (AED 58), the Chicken and Prawn (AED 68) and the Dim Sum Platter too, if you want some variety, their menu is pretty extensive, so take time to try a little bit of everything!

What to Try? What’s better than food with a view? And if that view is the beach, there is nothing like it! This is exactly what Ramusake is all about – amazing food and fantastic views. Talking about their dumplings, let’s just say it would be a crime to come here and not try some. The Cheese and Truffle Gyoza (AED 70), Prawn and Shitake (AED 55) and the Chicken and Ginger (AED 55) are some excellent picks. Don’t forget to try their grill selection, the Maki rolls and Sushi platters.

What to Try? If you’re looking for affordable delicious Momo’s at a restaurant that will remind you of Darjeeling, this one’s for you. They have an insane variety of veg and non-veg momos, from Schezwan (mushroom, mutton, chicken, prawn, etc), corn cheese, paneer, soya, egg, and more! All platters are priced between AED15-20. PS: Since you’re already at Darjeeling, don’t forget to pair your moms with a cup of hot masala chai, you will not regret it!
